We’re proudly a B-Corp company and are dedicated to making a positive impact in everything we do. We are searching for a Product Manager to join our team and support us in our mission of promoting financial inclusivity.
Role overview
- Helping define the product vision, strategy and roadmap
- Working with Plend internal stakeholders and team leads to make sure their technical solutions are impactful and optimised for efficiency and performance
- Building out the documentation needed to make sure we have a comprehensive picture of where we’re at with each feature and project in Plend
- Working with Data and Operations to understand customer behavior, identify pain points, and prioritize product enhancements
- Turn qualitative insights and quantitative data into clear product requirements
- Work closely with engineering team to provide a clear technical specification for product changes and new features
- Own the product roadmap for one or more core areas of the Plend platform (e.g., borrower onboarding, decisioning engine, repayments, or internal tooling)
- Be the voice of the user, bringing empathy, curiosity, and data-driven thinking to everything you build
- Partner with Compliance and Risk teams to ensure features meet regulatory and ethical standards
Who you are
- 2–5 years of experience as a product manager (fintech or consumer-facing preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical, business, and customer needs
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile environments
- Ability to prioritise and lead on technical projects/enhancements, as well as the confidence to think outside the box and make suggestions
- Experience testing, dev tickets, building out feature proposals and squashing bugs
- Communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to explain complex topics to non-technical audiences
- Ability to spin multiple plates at the same time, hold technical detail in your head
- A ‘doer’ not just a ‘talker’
Desireable:
- Experience working with data visualisation tools such as tableau, looker etc
- Experience in a lending business
- Experience with open-banking
